Friends of Mission Bend Branch Library was founded in 2024 to support the Mission Bend Branch and Fort Bend County Libraries. We raise money, run events, and speak up at county budget meetings so that literacy, learning, and a quiet place to think stay free and open to every patron.

How a donated book becomes a program
A simple loop that turns what the community gives back into what the branch can offer.
Collect
Neighbors donate books they've finished with. All of the books we resell come from the public nothing is bought to be flipped.
Fund
Book sales, community events, and grants raise money that supplements the branch's county funding and pays for programs and services.
Deliver
Funds go to the branch. We donate books we cannot sell to nonprofit organizations focused on improving literacy for children and families.
